INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY, EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
The general objective of INTED 2008 conference is the promotion of international collaboration in the field of technology, engineering and science education. INTED 2008 provides an International Forum for researchers, engineers, professors, educational scientists and technologists in the areas of Education, Science and Technology. It will be an excellent opportunity to present, demonstrate and discuss research, development, applications, and the latest innovations and results in the field of Higher Education and Industry.
We would like to strongly encourage you to submit your abstracts and participate at INTED 2008 in order to share your achievements in the fields of education and international collaboration. The deadline for submitting abstracts is November 15th, 2007.

CALL FOR PAPERS
The Scientific Committee encourages you to submit your abstracts to INTED 2008 Conference. The abstracts should be written in English, the official language of the event.
The abstract should be submitted preferably via the on-line form, which will be available in this website next 20th of September 2007.
Deadlines:
Abstract Submission Deadline: November 15th 2007
Notification of Acceptance/Rejection: December 5th, 2007
Final Paper Submission Deadline: January 15th, 2008
Submission guidelines:
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
1. The abstract should be submitted preferably via the on-line form, which will be available in this website from next 20th of September 2007.
2. Abstracts should be based on any of the topic areas listed in the section “topics” of this website or related areas.
3. The deadline for abstract submission is 15th of November 2007.
4. There is a limit of two contributed submissions per lead author.
5. The Notification of acceptance/rejection of abstracts submitted will be sent to you via e-mail by December 5th, 2007.
FINAL PAPER SUBMISSION:
1. If your abstract has been accepted, you should submit your Final Paper preferably via the on-line form.
2. Contributions will only be published at INTED 2008 publications if at least one of the authors of the paper is registered before the 1st of February 2008. (in person or virtual)
3. If you wish to be a session chair, please e-mail your request to
inted2008@iated.org and indicate the topic area in which you are interested. Registration for the conference is required to be a session chair.
Types of contributions:
In person:
Oral presentation: each presentation will last for 15 minutes and will be presented in parallel thematic sessions. We will inform you about the reference of your session and the time of your presentation once the abstract has been accepted.
Poster presentation: Your poster will be exhibited during the conference poster session.
Poster sessions will provide an opportunity for authors to display the results and conclusions of the presented paper. Poster sessions offer an opportunity for face to face presentations to individuals and small groups.
Not-attending:
Virtual presentation:
If you wish your paper to be published in the inted 2008 Abstracts Book and CD Proceedings, but you are not able to attend inted 2008 Conference in person, you can register for a “virtual presentation”. Each virtual paper shall be published in the Abstracts Book and CD Proceedings. Virtual participants will receive a copy of the publications (Abstract book and CD Proceedings), and a participation and author certificate by post.
