Translation Research Summer School (HK) 2013

Successfully launched in 2009, The HONG KONG TRANSLATION RESEARCH SUMMER SCHOOL – TRSS (HK) – is based at the Centre for Translation, Hong Kong Baptist University. TRSS (HK) is run in conjunction with the UK TRSS programme, and offers a two-week course in Hong Kong, providing intensive research training in translation and intercultural studies for prospective researchers in the field. Teaching is conducted in English.

TRSS (HK) 2013 Syllabus:
The syllabus consists of four modules of four seminars each, plus a public lecture by the invited speaker. In addition, students attend small-group tutorials and present their own work.

Modules: Research Design and Dynamics; Theoretical Approaches; Research Methods; 2013 Specialist Module: "Neuroscience and Translation"

Professor Maria TYMOCZKO, Professor of Comparative Literature at University of Massachusetts Amherst, USA
